Alec is originally from central Wisconsin. He studied film at the University of Wisconsin; where he was first exposed to international and arthouse cinema. After graduating, Alec moved and worked in San Francisco, creating commercials. By night, he funded and experimented with short films. Alec has shot films in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Paris.
Alec has created numerous short films that have screened across the globe. His latest short film, Maud et Luna (2024), has screened at the Norwich Film Festival, Beverly Hills Film Festival, and San Francisco Shorts Film Festival. Alec now resides in Los Angeles, where he is developing his first feature.
